Question

Electro Technics was called in by the project developers to provide the entire building of Residential Care Campus Ezeldijk with the right equipment. Electro Technics asked us to give shape to the lighting plan for a target group that deserves attention. Residential Care Campus Ezeldijk consists mainly of individual rooms where seniors can enjoy their well-deserved rest. Furthermore, the cluster of buildings is equipped with many conveniences, including a reception area, hairdresser and meeting rooms. The building structure mostly consists of design elements, combined with modern materials. For this, we created an appropriate plan that combines the project owners’ green vision with the right atmosphere. This plan was adopted and implemented one to one.

Challenge

The goal was to keep the environmental impact, and thus the consumption of the lighting, as low as possible but still achieve the right atmosphere. The original project brief had not yet been translated into the newer LED technologies that meet sustainable standards. It was up to us to give shape to this.

Result
A nice mix of classic and modern lighting techniques. Energy goals have been met and resident satisfaction is high. The project went so well that a second assignment was immediately initiated.
