Do you have the most handy hands in Lixero? We are looking for a full-time outdoor lighting technician.

What will you do as a field service mechanic?

Imagine: the sun is setting and the streets are getting dark. But there arrives our hero in the Lixero bus, loaded with all the products for the perfect lighting solutions. He or she goes out to illuminate the city’s most beautiful properties and fulfill the client’s wishes. You, as our new full-time field service mechanic, can be part of this adventure! Together with your colleagues, you prepare for the day’s jobs. You are the person who makes sure all plans come to life. Using your own van, you will drive to the customer’s location and get to work. You install the light rails, hang the lamps, mount the rails with steel wires and take care of the inserts in the ceiling.
Here and there you replace an existing light source, paying close attention to the customer’s wishes. No challenge is too big for you! When unexpected obstacles come your way, you know how to solve them creatively. When the job is done, you are also the one who makes sure that everything is left neat and tidy.

What do we expect from you?

To perform this role successfully, you will need basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering. This can be through technical training or work experience. Affinity for lighting (in a business environment) is nice, and a driver’s license B is a must. A VCA certificate is helpful but we can also arrange this with you. In addition, you have good communication skills, so you can keep clients well informed about your work and explain why you make certain choices. In doing so, you are independent, service-oriented and can take initiative to solve problems. In addition, you have a good command of the Dutch language.
