Our Yuugn Aurora is a 3D printed recessed spotlight that combines sustainable materials with high light quality and flexibility in application. Produced in the Netherlands, this fixture is made of recycled PETG, derived from recycled plastics. This gives existing raw materials a second life and reduces the demand for new fossil materials. After use, the luminaire is recyclable, fitting within circular concepts and projects where sustainability is a measuring point.
The Yuugn Aurora is designed as a recessed luminaire for environments where you want a quiet ceiling appearance, but need focused and pleasant light. Think offices, corridors, meeting rooms, reception areas and stores. By 3D printing production on demand, we avoid unnecessary overproduction and keep the process compact and manageable. This works nicely in projects with sustainability goals or reporting requirements.
In terms of lighting technology, the Yuugn Aurora uses an LED light source with a high system efficiency of 140 lm/W. This gets a lot of light from relatively little power, which helps reduce energy consumption and heat generation. Depending on the version, the luminaire delivers a net luminous flux of 840 to 3900 lumens at a system power of 7 to 30 watts. so you can match the light to the atmosphere of the room or the function of the workplace.
In addition, CRI >90 offers clear added value in spaces where color rendering matters. In retail, products and materials stand out better, and in offices and reception areas the interior looks more natural. The color consistency of 2 SDCM also creates a clean overall appearance, especially when applying multiple luminaires in one line of sight.
The Aurora is available with beam angles of 15°, 24°, 36° and 60°. This allows you to match the light image to the purpose. Narrow for accent on walls, objects or counters, and wider for general lighting or a softer image in larger areas. With a UGR value lower than 19, this luminaire contributes to visual comfort, which is especially pleasant in office environments and educational spaces. Less glare means less distraction and a finer light image at working height.
The fixture has a ring size of 140 to 250 mm, a hole size of 120 to 23o mm and a height of 145 mm. Suitable for indoor applications, the Yuugn Aurora has an IP20 rating and protection class II. The LED lifetime is over 50,000 hours (L90B50) at an ambient temperature of 25 °C. The luminaire is designed for operating temperatures from 0 to +40 °C and comes with a 5-year warranty. This makes you choose a sustainable solution that lasts a long time and requires less maintenance, which is practical for management and operation.
