Yuugn Zip Double Side

Our Yuugn Zip Double Side is a circular 3D printed insert fixture for 60×60 cm suspended ceilings, made to create a continuous light line or a quiet light field in the middle of the ceiling. You use the Zip Double Side when you do not build up the light image along the edge, but rather want it to run between ceiling tiles.

Circular Inset Fixture

We print the housing from recycled PETG and produce the luminaire in the Netherlands. This way we work with recycled raw materials and a transparent origin. This is useful for projects where circularity is included in documentation or reporting. At the end of the lifespan, the housing can be reprocessed, so we can continue to follow a circular route in the dismantling phase as well.

Quality and comfortable

The Yuugn Zip Double Side operates with an SMD LED module and is designed for a wide 60° light distribution. System efficiency is 144 lm/W, with luminous flux ranging from 1300 to 2880 lumens at 9 to 20 watts. Choose from 3000K or 4000K, allowing you to match the color temperature to the room and use.

Color rendering is CRI >80 and color consistency is 3 SDCM. As a result, the light image remains uniform when using multiple luminaires. With UGR<19, you limit glare, which is pleasant in work and learning environments where people are under the light for long periods of time.

Double-sided imposition

The Yuugn Zip Double Side version is intended for double-sided imposition and comes between two adjacent suspended ceiling tiles. That makes this inset fixture suitable for lines or fields that you run through a space. For example, in traffic areas, open workspaces or larger floor plans where you want to keep a consistent ceiling rhythm.

Difference with Yuugn Zip Single Side

Zip Double Side belongs to the same family as the Yuugn Zip Single Side, but the application is different. Single Side is used along the edge of a ceiling tile, Double Side is used between two tiles in the middle. You can also see this reflected in the width. Double Side is 87 mm wide, while Single Side is 77 mm wide. As a result, each variant fits its own place in the ceiling image, without you having to improvise with fitting.

Durable inlay fixture

Zip Double Side has a length of 590 mm, a width of 87 mm and a height of 50 mm. The fixture is intended for indoor use with IP20 and protection class II. The LED lifetime is >60,000 hours (L90B50) and the fixture is designed for operating temperatures from 0 to +40 °C. We supply Zip Double Side with a 5-year warranty, which helps with management and operation in projects where predictability is important.
