Electrotechnical Bureau Van Keulen was appointed to create the right experience in the BMW showroom. For the design of the commercial areas, Nobra Cars BMW set the condition that the exterior light in conjunction with the interior lighting should create an evenly lit space. For their customers, they want the best experience to admire the latest car models in the showroom. Sunlight can create shadows and that can disrupt thisexperience.

The experience of our segment manager was needed to make an informed decision for the lighting strategy to be implemented. The lighting products were chosen for their properties to emit light from heights and create the right atmosphere in the showroom. These products are in line with the overall luxurious and clean look of the showroom.

Challenge

In the fall of 2014, it was time for Nobra Cars BMW to look for a new showroom and workshop for its BMW cars. The old building had lost its match with the luxury brand over the years and was in need of an upgrade. The property had to match the high-end products in both quality and beauty. After an intensive search, Nobra Cars BMW had its eye on a property that met all the requirements. It is in a beautiful location with lots of greenery, is large enough to withstand growth, and is mostly made up of glass that lets in lots of outdoor light.

A showroom to be very proud of. The beautifully evenly lit showroom accentuates the entire Nobra Cars BMW product range. The beauty of the cars is shown to its best advantage.
