For this home in Roermond, we chose the Arkoslight brand, of which we are an official distributor. Arkoslight is a beautiful, high quality brand for both technical and decorative lighting. One of the unique techniques the brand uses is the dark light effect, where you can barely see the light emanating from the fixture.
The monumental doors of this former patrician residence open to reveal a story of history and contemporary splendor. This villa enchants with its rich history and breathtaking spaces. At the heart of this villa is a lighting play that celebrates the unique character of the home and envelops its occupants in atmosphere and functionality.

The first floor welcomes visitors with majestic four-meter-high ceilings and abundant natural light streaming through the large windows. When you go to the living room, you see the minimalist white rail with spotlights. These track spots are controlled wirelessly through the Casambi bluetooth system. The clever use of lighting emphasizes height and brilliantly highlights classic decorations.
In the hallway, we used the same minimalist lighting system, now in black for a nice consistency with the space. Furthermore, the dark beams in the ceiling are beautifully lit with two minimalist sconces shining upward.
The bathroom and bedroom are a masterpiece of lighting. In these rooms we used moisture-resistant Swap spotlights, which are nicely recessed. Because these spotlights have low glare, an extremely comfortable light display is created. We also use subtle lighting on the tall cabinets, this illuminates the wall and the images of the stucco on the ceiling. The bedroom comes alive with ambient cove lighting.
Result
This villa is not only a visual treat, but also a lifetime masterpiece. A balance between modern technologies and authentic details is at the heart of this villa lighting. Together with the interior designer, we created a stunning display of light. Our experienced lighting expert went to work with minimalist and modern fixtures, and the results are impressive.
