For this special villa in Roermond, we chose Arkoslight, a brand of which we are official distributor. Arkoslight is known for high-quality technical and decorative lighting. One of their unique techniques is the dark light effect, in which the light source in the fixture remains virtually invisible.

Historic splendor with modern lighting

The monumental doors of this former patrician residence open to a story where history meets contemporary splendor. The villa breathes history, while its spaces come to life thanks to a carefully chosen lighting plan. Together with interior designer Arnie van Dun and Puts Elektro, we created an atmosphere in which character and functionality reinforce each other.

Elegant lighting on the first floor

Visitors are welcomed on the first floor with impressive four-meter-high ceilings and abundant natural light through the large windows. The living room features a minimalist white track with spotlights, wirelessly controlled via the Casambi system. Through clever placement, the lighting highlights the height and brilliantly brings out classic decorations.

Refined accents in the hallway

The same minimalist system was also chosen in the hallway, this time finished in black to match the space. In addition, two minimalist wall lights provide a beautiful accent to the dark ceiling beams.

Comfortable and attractive in bathroom and bedroom

The bathroom and bedroom form a harmonious whole thanks to moisture-resistant Arkoslight Swap spotlights. These recessed spotlights offer little glare and therefore create a comfortable light scene. Subtle lighting on top of the tall cabinets also emphasizes the beautiful stucco ceiling. The bedroom becomes even more atmospheric thanks to elegant cove lighting.

This villa is not only pleasing to the eye, but also designed for life. A perfect balance between modern technology and authentic details is at the heart of the lighting design. Together with the interior architect, our experienced lighting expert realized a lighting plan that focuses on minimalism and modern fixtures. The result speaks for itself.
