Question

The ICT company Van Roey opened the Kempus in the spring of 2022. An inspiring and smart office building located on the ring road of Turnhout, Belgium. The building brings companies together to collaborate innovatively in an inspiring environment.

Challenge

The climate neutral building is equipped with geothermal energy, which provides heating and cooling of the office building through the climate ceilings. In addition, the building is equipped with solar panels and solar control glass to create a perfect working environment.

Result
Using extremely performate slimline LED lighting in the climate ceilings, an aesthetic lighting solution has been realized. Fully in line with what Kempus stands for. By using the right lighting in the working areas of the office, a pleasant and inspiring working environment is created. With the fully automatically controlled luminaires, Kempus fully complies with the latest European standards regarding workplace lighting.
