Question

For this modern villa in Vlijmen, we designed a custom lighting plan that perfectly matches the stylish interior. The lighting was carefully chosen to complement the architecture and interior, with special attention to atmosphere, functionality and ease of use. Several brands of fixtures were chosen, including Arkoslight.

In the living and dining room, we worked with recessed recessed spotlights incorporated into the ceiling. These provide bright, yet subtle general lighting, perfectly matching the different activities in this open space. In addition, these recessed spotlights provide minimal glare and a comfortable light display. In addition, a large, atmospheric pendant light is placed above the dining table, adding to the intimate atmosphere during dinners.

The kitchen features functional lighting in the form of integrated ceiling spotlights. These provide good lighting for daily activities, while the design perfectly complements the modern look of the kitchen cabinetry and marble kitchen worktop.

Challenge

In the bedroom we chose wall lights that not only create a warm atmosphere, but also have a decorative function. The lamps highlight the wooden elements of the interior, creating a natural and soothing ambiance.

The bathroom has a luxurious feel with the use of subtle recessed spotlights that brightly illuminate the space without overpowering it. This creates a serene and relaxing atmosphere, ideal for moments of tranquility.

Result
Consideration has also been given to lighting in the hallways and foyer, where strategically placed spotlights create a beautiful light display that is both functional and inviting. The indirect lighting along the walls creates a pleasant atmosphere and turns these usually functional spaces into an extension of the interior.
With our lighting plan, we provided not only adequate and functional lighting, but also a warm and inviting atmosphere to match the luxurious look of this villa.
