Question

At the beginning of 2016, we were at the Horecava in Amsterdam, to show what experience we can create with light in the hospitality industry. One of our segment managers met the owner of The Seafood Bar there. It turned out that The Seafood Bar had been looking for a new supplier for some time, who could translate the store concept into the right lighting plan. Together with interior designer Estida, we started working on this request.

The concept of The Seafood Bar is to combine fresh fish with atmosphere and quality. So that the customer knows how to find The Seafood Bar again and again. Our segment manager created the total concept that achieved the lighting goal.

Challenge

Accentuating the characteristics of fresh fish was the main project goal. In addition to an appropriate lighting plan, there were two other important parameters. First, all lighting had to be centrally controllable from a point. In addition, all systems had to be easily dimmable.

Result

A very attractive seafood restaurant, where both customers and employees feel at home here and enjoy the fresh fish.
