At Slagerij Veenboer in Assendelft everything revolves around quality, craftsmanship and an open atmosphere. Together with Emondt KMI, we provided a lighting plan that perfectly matches the renewed store concept: warm, luxurious and inviting.

Lighting plays a subtle but indispensable role in the overall look. Track spots provide focused light on counters, products and presentation areas without being distracting to the customer or employee. The combination of meat color spotlights and carefully chosen directional angles brings out the meat perfectly, with special attention to color and freshness.

Challenge

The black ceilings and glossy wall tiles call for a clever approach. By working with contrasting accent lighting, a play of light and dark is created that makes the interior even more powerful. The wooden lath structures are given extra depth and the whole breathes tranquility and luxury.

Result
Upon entering, the self-service furniture immediately attracts attention. Thanks to the light, they emerge naturally in the routing. The space feels open and uncluttered, without losing its warmth. Slagerij Veenboer Assendelft is a store where everything is right, right down to the light.
