Question

Peack Inteior commissioned us to draw the entire lighting plan for Deurne’s “Echte Bakker” in DIALux, including 3D renderings that showed exactly how the light would fall over the bread, display cases and routing. Being from Deurne ourselves, this was one of those projects where everything had to be right: warm, inviting and functional for every day.

The basis of the store lighting consists of our own TX-L track spotlights. Directable, sleek in shape and with high color rendering so that crusts show golden brown and fillings fresh and flavorful. We chose a light color that feels pleasing upon entry and supports the craft in the display cases without glare. Because the spotlights are easy to rotate and move, the presentation remains flexible with seasonal changes and promotions.

Challenge

The white track rails are from Stucchi. A solid 3-phase system that switches reliably for years, even when fixtures are added later. Above some of the accents, we chose ring fixtures from Alphabet. These bring a soft, even glow to the counter and give that little extra attention value on special products.

Result

In the elaboration, we kept the lighting scene calm. The paths are brightly lit, the display cases shine without annoying reflections and the seating area along the facade remains comfortable even when it is sunny outside. The result is a bright, modern bakery in which you immediately feel like taking something with you, with lighting that makes the craftsmanship of Bakkerij Vedder visible every day.
