Tchin-Tchin Dunkirk is a place where atmosphere, material and light merge.
A new interior requires lighting that enhances the atmosphere and is functional. For the completely renovated Kwalitaria in Hoogerheide, we provided the complete lighting, tailored to the new layout and look of the business.
In the seating area, we chose pendant luminaires with warm light and open fixture shapes. They provide an atmospheric light image, just at the right height. The distribution and positioning create calm and evenness in the room, without harsh shadows or glare. This nicely emphasizes the natural materials and warm color tones in the interior.
A black 3-phase track with directional spotlights runs along the ceiling. These provide directional light above the counter and display cases and ensure adequate visibility on products, order screens and countertops. All this without compromising on appearance. The lighting at the self-service kiosk is also cleverly placed, bright enough for ease of use, but subdued so that it does not dominate upon entry.
Result
The result is a pleasant balance between atmosphere and functionality. Exactly what you want in a modern restaria like Kwalitaria Hoogerheide that invites you to stay, from lunch to dinner.
