Meet The Team: Ward Popp

This is Ward Popp, 33 years old and from Hoogvliet Rotterdam. He joined us as an account manager at the beginning of this year and has been bringing a lot of energy to the team ever since!

Always on the go

Ward is busy every day maintaining existing relationships as well as building new collaborations. His workday usually starts with getting rid of his mailbox, after which he hits the road to visit customers. At the end of the day, he neatly updates everything in the CRM system. No two days are the same, and that is exactly what he loves about his job. The varied projects and the personal contact with customers give him energy.

Rotterdam mentality

Within Lixero, Ward is known for his direct Rotterdam roots. As far as he is concerned, only one motto applies: No words but deeds. He is a real go-getter and radiates this in his work. He drinks his coffee black, with sugar and preferably extra strong, which says it all.

On Wheels

In his free time, Ward likes to put on skates or skates. Whether on ice or asphalt, if it rolls, he’s there. He is a definite morning person: up early, to bed early. And his favorite holiday is Koningsdag, not because of the orange tompoucen, but because it’s the day to sell old stuff.

Ward’s advice to everyone? Enjoy each day and make something beautiful out of it. And he does so himself, with full conviction!
