Meet Sébastien Duvet, our country manager for France. He has been part of
The Frenchi of Lixero
Within the team, Sébastien is known as the “Frenchi,” although he speaks English daily with colleagues in the office. His mission? To put Lixero on the map in France and bring us to the attention of architects, installers, designers and developers. With 18 years of experience in the lighting industry, he is certainly no stranger to the field. He has already traveled through several countries for his work and has therefore learned how diverse the approach can be.
No day the same
Sébastien loves the variety of his work. One day he is prospecting, the next he is sitting down with an architect or installer to discuss lighting studies and product choices. He enjoys the direct contact, listening to customers and looking for appropriate solutions. What he likes extra about his profession: lighting is visible. If you do your job well, you see the difference immediately.
Music, sports and travel
Outside of work hours, Sébastien lives it up in the gym, on the padel court or during a run. But he is also a DJ and has a penchant for electronic music. His favorite dish? Lasagne Bolognese, maybe he has Italian roots after all. His favorite vacation destinations are in Asia, especially Bali and Thailand, because of the culture, nature and warm people.
Sébastien is a definite morning person, not least because breakfast is his favorite meal. Waking up at night? Not a chance, he sleeps like a hibernating bear. Finally, his life motto: Always do the best you can. And his advice? Don’t listen too much to others, above all follow your own path.
