Question

Lighting a retail chain, a profession in its own right! We are very proud to share this first project from Intertoys. The store in Veenendaal is one of the stores where the new Intertoys concept has been fully implemented. This modern store has become a nice shop, with proper attention to both the customers and the wide assortment.

Challenge

Our light designer designed a lighting plan that captured shoppers’ attention. With the clever use of different lights, attention is drawn to several parts of Intertoys Veenendaal. This partly determines the walking route but also ensures a clear and comfortable shopping environment.

Result

In this project, we chose a combination of several tiltable LED spots. For example, we use “wallwashers” to create a light image with as few shadows and focus for the details of the products as possible.

In addition, we used track spots with different degree beams. Spotlights with a smaller degree beam provide extra attention to special products or product groups. We use the spotlights with a larger degree beam for more general lighting in the store.
